Hehe, I finally got around to registering on the new forum. So, what's the status of the mod?

I don't know. Most of the new gc and skirmish maps are done.So the new planets now have there own exclusive maps. Cool

About the progress,
we just need to finish our new GC map and fix that problem with the SSDs spawning at the same position....that problem makes me mad -.-

Well, I coded a fun unit today while I was bored that you can use if you want. It's the Lightdart, a reskinned TIE Defender set up with my ram coding, extremely powerful against large ships but defenseless against fighters. No screenshots, but I have a video of an older/unfinished version that uses a different model taking down a space station here.

oh i recoded some props smallpox. I'll send them with the skirmish maps when there done.

nice! we've good progress at the moment.

I've had the problem with some of my SSD's. I think it depends on the model, what models are you using?

One way to fix it is to just make their population values so high that you can't have more than one in a battle. Not the best possible fix, but it works.

Either I use lord_x's eclipse, avenger's sovereign or stock executor model or all 3 together.


That with the pop value would be the last possibility for me

hmm We haven't posted any news in the last time, so why not using this thread to announce them here?
We can't leave our fan community/revan ( Wink ) without any information.



Now the news:
-SSD bug is fixed ( Yay!! Woohooo!!! )
-Nightfall is working on the GC map and he hopes to finish it until wednesday
-I'm working on a new unit: a commander who controls a tartan in space and on ground; that unit will replace that flying MDU
-revan's Lightdart will probably be used as a hero squadron
-I think Re4_Wesker and Locutus are still working on some maps
-And I might try to bring more balancing in the mod
When all this is done we'll release our first version in german, then Nightfall will translate it into english (I hope I can help him with that but my english isn't that good =/)


Our plans for the future:
-We'll try to make an expansion pack for SWOTE including a campaign
-V2 is planned already and I want to replace the ZC with something else

Dunno how well it'd work as a squadron. I designed it as a single ship, but having 3-6+ of them would kill big ships insanely fast.

I thought that was an MDU. Ground+Space units are fun.

Balance is good. Too bad I suck at balancing lol. But honestly, I played some skirmish today online, and the Empire desperately needs some secret weapons.
